High-performance Amlogic S905Y4 chipset
The new Amlogic S905Y4-B chipset and quad-core ARM Cortex-A35 CPU boost the performance of the MAG544/544w3 compared to the previous generation of MAG boxes. All of these technical features help the UI to work fast and play content smoothly.
It plays 4K HDR video at 60 fps
MAG544/544w3 set-top boxes support AV1 and HEVC codecs which enables them to play 4K content without overloading the Internet connection2. While H.264 requires 32 Mbps to process video, HEVC requires only 16 Mbps.
Dolby Digital Plus™ surround sound
The device supports Dolby Digital Plus to provide clear eight-channel surround sound. The set-top box can be connected to seven speakers and a subwoofer. This way, the soundtracks get distributed in space, creating a surround sound effect and offering an immersive experience.
